City Cyclery Recognized as Bike Friendly Sponsor of the Year.
Bike Friendly was pleased to award City Cyclery with our first Bike Friendly Sponsor of the Year Award at our September 2014 AGM, held at City Cyclery.
City Cyclery owners, Ron Drouillard and Stephen Hargreaves, have supported Bike Friendly’s advocacy efforts since they opened the doors of their Walkerville bike shop last year.
They include our organization in the community cycling initiatives they are involved in and in spring 2014, they made Bike Friendly the recipient of proceeds from the annual Windsor Tweed Ride – $500 to help us campaign for safer cycling infrastructure. They also offer their shop to us at no cost for cycle friendly events.
